Textpresso Literature Search: New Login System

We are introducing a new authentication system for Textpresso — please read the instructions below.

What is changing?

Textpresso Literature Search is moving to Amazon Cognito as its new login and authentication system. This means that all Textpresso users will need to create a new account through a self-signup process. Previously, Textpresso could be used without logging in. Going forward, a login will be required.

How to sign up

Follow these steps to create your new Textpresso account:

  1. You will be redirected to the new login page When you access Textpresso, you will be automatically redirected to the new login page. Click "Sign up" (or "Create account") to get started.
  2. Enter your details Provide your email address and choose a secure password.
  3. Verify your email You will receive a verification code from verificationemail.com at the email address you provided. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it. Enter this code on the confirmation screen to activate your account.
  4. Log in Once verified, return to the login page and sign in with your new credentials. You are all set.
Attention Alliance of Genome Resources Curators

If you are an Alliance of Genome Resources curator, please note that Alliance of Genome Resources curators will be able to login with their usual credentials.
